Beneath the ribs, the heart does race,
Pumping blood at a fervent pace.
Yet, despite this vibrant, frantic show,
Demands exceed what it can bestow.

First, anemia steals the breath,
Starving cells, inching toward death.
Meanwhile, hyperthyroidism burns bright,
Fueling a fire that steals the night.

Moreover, fistulas twist and wind,
Bypassing paths vessels are designed.
Next comes Beriberi’s cruel display,
Vasodilation holds sway.

Additionally, Paget’s bone does call,
Demanding blood to strengthen its wall.
And sepsis, too, spreads far and wide,
A battle where the heart cannot hide.

Furthermore, obesity adds its share,
A metabolic weight too great to bear.
Thus, the heart strains under the load,
Its every beat a heavy code.

Yet symptoms speak, if we but hear,
Shortened breaths, fatigue, and fear.
With swelling limbs and racing chest,
A heart that struggles never rests.

To find the cause, we delve within,
Lab tests, echoes, the search begins.
Through imaging, secrets are laid bare,
A map to mend what lies impaired.

Finally, treatment lights the way,
Addressing each cause, come what may.
Iron for blood, thyroid controlled,
Surgery where fistulas hold.

Therefore, with care and early sight,
The failing heart regains its fight.
Though the path is steep, the goal is near,
A balance found, a pulse made clear.
