In the realm of skin, a tale unfolds,
Where fungi’s touch, a story told.
Not a worm, but a ring-shaped plight,
Tinea’s mark in red and white.

Tinea corporis on the body’s plane,
Tinea pedis where feet might complain.
Tinea cruris in the groin's embrace,
Tinea capitis on scalp's space.

Tinea unguium, nails it does bind,
A rash appears, a ring you’ll find.
Scaling skin and itching too,
Blisters may form in some cases too.

Dermatophytes are the culprits here,
Spreading through contact, far and near.
From pets and people, soil and more,
Contaminated items, they explore.

Treat with creams, and lotions apply,
Oral meds if the case is spry.
Keep clean and dry, that’s the key,
Avoid shared items, let it be.

In the end, though not severe,
Ringworm’s presence we must clear.
With proper care and timely fight,
It fades away, out of sight.
